Ramsey Knowles has a reputation for solving complex litigation problems and obtaining the results his clients need by resourcefully employing all available dispute resolution tools.

Ramsey’s practice includes contract disputes and business torts, real estate and construction disputes, regulatory proceedings, and securities and investor disputes, including corporate divorce. Ramsey has both initiated and defended against all of the situations that arise in business disputes, including commercial real estate claims, injunction requests, securities litigation, breach of contract claims, and tort claims such as fraud, negligent misrepresentation, interference with contract or business relations, breach of fiduciary duties, accounting malpractice, conversion (theft), and defamation.

Ramsey has a wide range of experience litigating cases in state and federal courts, as well as experience with arbitration, mediation, and other forms of alternative dispute resolution. Ramsey enjoys working in the courtroom and also excels at fashioning negotiated resolutions that save his clients the expense of litigation and the distraction from their businesses.

At a young age, Ramsey began working on his family’s farm in Telfair County, Georgia, learning the value of hard work and the concerns that weigh on business owners and managers. Based on his experiences, Ramsey tailors his law practice to fit the individual needs of each client and to achieve the best possible result with the least possible business disruption.

Prior to forming Knowles Gallant Timmons, Ramsey was a partner at one of Georgia’s top ten largest law firms where he practiced complex business litigation, securities litigation, real estate litigation, and construction litigation. Ramsey lives in Atlanta, Georgia with his wife Alison and their three children, Marley, Lilah, and Ford.
