With over 26 years of experience in complex litigation matters, Chris Timmons represents privately held and publicly traded businesses in matters involving RICO, contract disputes, partnership disputes, and internal fraud investigations. Chris has tried more than 100 cases to judges and juries, almost all as chief or sole counsel.
Prior to joining Knowles Gallant Timmons, Chris served as a prosecutor for over 17 years in DeKalb and Cobb Counties. Chris was also a litigation associate for five years at King & Spalding in Atlanta and Taft, Stettinius, & Hollister in Cincinnati.
For the past 13 years, Chris has also been an adjunct law professor at the Georgia State University College of Law, teaching Trial Advocacy and Jury Selection Courses. He is on the Executive Committee of the Lawyers Club of Atlanta and a Master in the Bleckley Inn of Court.
Chris lives in Atlanta with his wife, Professor Kelly Timmons, and their two daughters.
