Karen Bain

Karen Baine

Karen represents clients across a broad range of litigation matters. Her practice encompasses all aspects of commercial litigation, including construction disputes, contract disputes, business torts, and real estate disputes from filing to resolution. Karen has extensive experience with matters in both state and federal courts as well as resolving cases through mediation and the alternative dispute resolution process.

Prior to joining Knowles Gallant Timmons, Karen spent over 15 years in litigation, both in large and small firms. Additionally, Karen has served as Staff Attorney to judges in Georgia, giving her a unique perspective on what happens on the other side of the bench.

While in law school, Karen served as Technical Editor of the Georgia State University College of Law, Law Review.

Karen is an active volunteer in the community, having served as Board Chair of the legal non-profit, Georgia Asylum and Immigration Network and a frequent volunteer with Pro Bono Partnership of Atlanta. Karen also serves as PTA President for her children’s school and the Children Family Ministries Committee for Trinity Presbyterian Church. She lives in Atlanta, Georgia with her husband David and their two children, Andrew and Sarah.
